As per the YouTube channel Recollection Road, these brands have gone out of business. Did you drink any of these beers? Olympia, Hammís, Brown Derby, Krueger, Falstaff, Pabst Red, White and Blue Beer, Jax, Meister Brau, Billy Beer (named for Jimmy Carterís brother back in the 1970ís). I remember drinking Hammís and Olympia beers. .

I see "Pig's Eye" didn't make the list. You HAD to drink that stuff because you couldn't pour it back in the horse it came out of.

I have nothing clever to put here.

You are right. I read the article again concerning Hammís. Apparently, it was bought out by another company and is now sold only in select markets. At one time, they said it was the 5th largest selling beer in the country.

My Dad drank Effinger. Locally brewed in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Not sure when they went out of business.

I can remember my folks getting generic "Beer". Just a white can labeled "BEER" in black letters.

Dad used to buy Pfeiffer beer when we'd go to Alma Wi. to fish the Mississippi back waters when I was a kid. Always brought home a few cases of long necks.
