As per the YouTube channel Recollection Road, these brands have gone out of business. Did you drink any of these beers? Olympia, Hamm’s, Brown Derby, Krueger, Falstaff, Pabst Red, White and Blue Beer, Jax, Meister Brau, Billy Beer (named for Jimmy Carter’s brother back in the 1970’s). I remember drinking Hamm’s and Olympia beers. .

I see "Pig's Eye" didn't make the list. You HAD to drink that stuff because you couldn't pour it back in the horse it came out of.
I have nothing clever to put here.

The Old Man always had some "Old Topper" beer on the farm. You are right. I read the article again concerning Hamm’s. Apparently, it was bought out by another company and is now sold only in select markets. At one time, they said it was the 5th largest selling beer in the country.

I haven't seen big mouth Schmitt for some time. I had some last summer. Our larger liquor stores carry it.

I can remember my folks getting generic "Beer". Just a white can labeled "BEER" in black letters.
