Excellent! We are headed to NE SD in a couple of weeks to see if we can find a couple. We are certainly no threat to the population but I had a blast last year.

Drove an hour for a 15 minute walk, probably had a 30 bird flush..I'm not complaining.

Don't knock it until you have tried it. We hunted 5 day last year, saw LOTS of birds, shot LOTS of shells and came home with less than a handful of birds but it sure got me hooked and I have been looking forward to going again for a whole year.

I've been spending my time around Elgin. No shortage of birds down there, wether we're talking pheasants, grouse or huns.

Grum, I've heard from so many that their gonna quit hunting ND after electronic posting was implemented.

To the person, they all say they spend more time looking at their phones then hunting.

ND used to be SO fun to coyote hunt. Sad to say but I'm done going there.

Yeah the e posting is garbage, the worst of it is you'll drive to an area that shows no e posted land only to find out its posted up old school. The state either needs to get rid of it or make every land owner us it.

Just as it sounds, so now you need an app to know if you can hunt a particular piece of ground or not.

Nice, you are lucky to have a good population, I haven't seen a cockbird for 4 or 5 years in my area.
