Slabbed cc have shown a good increase in value. Buy when the market is lower and sell when its higher on common morgans. Investment coins only buy graded and slabbed by a major company. Rounds can be a decent investment if collector grade sometimes. Common rounds same advice as morgans. Don't hold common stuff.

To technically be considered a coin it has to be produced by a government mint and have an actual face value. Some examples are an American Silver Eagle which has a face value of $1 or a Canadian Maple which has a face value of $5 CDN

John, I like to think I have a pretty good understanding of the bullion and it's relation to Numismatics. It boils down to an individual reasoning for acquiring bullion v Numis.
