I just got a half dozen No-BS Extremes 4 coil.
I can set them in the shop, but I pictured it being a bit of a wrestling match match in the woods on soft ground.
So a made myself a compact setter.
Figured I'd post some photos and maybe it'll give someone else some ideas.

I used what I had on hand for material.
The main part is 5/8" X 6" cold roll round stock.
I milled the slots 3/16" wide X 1" long
To make the Tee part I cut some 3/16" key stock 2" long and spot welded them in place in the bottom of the slot.
Without the tee they want to roll over move around to much.

They seem like they are going to work fine, and it was the simplest setter design I could come up with.

I attached them together with some braided mason line so I can lose them both at the same time.

Pretty nice.
I also like that you are organized enough to lose them at the same time. whistle

I've finally reached that age where I've just accepted my shortcomings and have learned to deal with them. grin

Those look pretty good and easier to use than the ones I tried making out of 1.5 inch flat stock with a slot punched in them.

I started out making the style that hooks under the coils, but then discovered that the coils are not the same outer diameter. Not impossible to overcome, but I didn't want to deal with right and left setters. So this seemed like the simplest solution.
