I'm man enough to tell ya I don't carry a knife, no reason to. I'm also man enough to tell ya I don't care what people think of me not carrying one.

I wear shorts, carry a knife and handkerchief, have ammo all over my truck, shoot small bucks and does and don't have a nose ring. I don't know where I stand with you guys. A couple of my many biases are nose rings and studs on male or female, ear rings on males, not big on tattoos and despise people who wear pajamas in public shopping, also those who are of working age and don't have a job but are on public assistance.

Yes I live in an area that is full of people on some type of assistance and probably don’t need it. What burns me up is how they feel entitled to the best even when they cannot afford it. Most times this happens in veterinary medicine where I work and their animal gets sick but they have no funds. Yet it’s OUR fault because we charge for services and surgeries and diagnostics. Listen, Gypsy, nobody put a gun to your head and told you to go get a puppy or kitten that you clearly cannot care for. They’re the same bums that use the facility over and over again and leave to go to the nearest gas station to get pop and cigarettes while we are making endless estimates to try and best help their animal Rant over Sorry guys

Our mule deer herd is at 48% of average. I would consider that compromised. So stop the whole hunting season If it was up to me we would.

Sounds like the wolves and bears need thinning out. Yep, and lions.

I understand Elk guy. Game depts everywhere depend on license sales.

Grown men shooting small bucks ticks me off too. It’s the old “I drove all this way I’m taking something home!” mentality. Do they have a tag for it? Here, a buck has to be a certain size to be legally taken. On one of the tags, the other is a choice tag in case the buck isn’t quality. I’m also in the camp of, if it’s legal, let it fly if you want that animal.
It’s deer hunting, not deer passing.
If I have a tag, I’m ready to drag.

Peopel that never served in the military, but always say "Well I would have gone in but...." much worse than wearing shorts Well I was planing on going into the coastguard a few months after my girlfriend did. I had some things to get taken care of first. I droped her off a meps and the next morning got a call from her to come pick her up she could not go becuse she was pregnant. Needless to say that changed my plans. Don't know if you count the coastguard as military since they are under department of transportation? But I figured it would be a good way to move into federal law inforcement if I didn't want to put in 20 in the coastguard and i would get skills useful outside of the military. Also after a few years on an icebreaker in Alaska I figured I could get moved to a small boat station on the cost and enjoy riding motorcycles and fishing. Coast Guard is Homeland Security, not transportation. Coast Guard has also been deployed during every foreign war and conflict.

Delaware rob they might have changed to department of homeland security I don't know but in 98 I was told by the recruiter they were under the department of transportation so they could legally arrest civilians because if they were department of defense they would not be able to. I assumed the recruiter knew what he was talking about but?
But a lot had changed since 911. Yeah buddy, it was after 9/11
