That was interesting.Does anyone know what the light was that was scanning them,on the conveyor belt? I'm guessing that it was checking for density, maybe?

High tech is an understatement. Wonder how long their harvest period is? Can they speed or delay the priming with length of daylight and temperature. Lots of equipment for a two month harvest window.

Wonder how many litters a female produces before being harvested.

Anti trapper from the start.
Right off the bat they are trying to justify fur farming as to replace wild harvest(to stop hunting) in their words.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

I don't recall exactly but didn't gfw have a video out earlier on that said something about mink farming was coming to a end in the next couple years because it wasn't profitable.

Dang, and here I've been promoting trapping as cruelty-free harvest of free range mink...not cruel confinement mink!

And if they are successful on the wild harvest of mink their next focus will be on stopping the mink farming.

SIGN ON A FARMER'S FENCE: Do not cross this field unless you can do it in 9 seconds because the bull can do it in 10.

I am kind of curious what the general opinion of fur farms are among fellow trappers. I'm personally kind of conflicted on this. on one hand yeah, they help keep the fur industry alive, but i'm sure that without fur farms the prices would be higher for trappers.

If prices were consistently higher there would be far more trappers, less ground to trap, more theft

Seems to me anyone involved in what remains of the fur industry these days better stick together and support one another.

Personally I'd rather see "free range" fur topping the market, but I get that everything (economically) is about money. Definitely a well refined process over there!

Somewhat dated as Denmark no longer has any mink ranches, farm and or the major auction site.

I don't think the fur industry would survive without fur farms. Trappers can't supply enough wild fur.
