In my neighborhood at least 75% of the squirrels are black. I have only seen one white one in my life.
I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!

Interesting! Rare I would think also.

When I lived in the trailer park in Pine City we had a dozen or more of those running around not albino because they had dark eyes so it was common to see all three at once white, black and regular grays all at the same time
When I first moved there it was only one then the number just grew, might still be doing so but not have north been back for a few years now

We have a few in my neighborhood in the 'burbs. Never seen one in a rural or wilderness setting as I think the raptors pick them off too easily before they mature.
Just happy to be here.

In southern Ontario there are black grey and red(fox) squirrells. In the north only Red(pine) squirrells. Never seen a white one although the greys stood out because of their pale colour.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Many moons ago when I was a kid, there was a whole family of white squirrels in Merrill Wi. That would have been in the early 60s, haven't seen one since.

Our fox Squirrels around here come in all different colors from black to white to red and a mix of everything in between. They grow big here too. Like house cat size.

I see quite a few black squirrels running around, but these are pretty rare, I think. Not in Olney, IL.
Get the US out of the UN and the UN out of the US.
