I see quite a few black squirrels running around, but these are pretty rare, I think.

I never seen a white squirrel.

I think you're correct- I have numerous black squirrels never saw a white one- really cool.

Seen and shot lots of blacks. Never seen a white one.

Did see a blonde one while I was spring turkey hunting. It looked straight out of the 80s.

In my neighborhood at least 75% of the squirrels are black. I have only seen one white one in my life.

When I lived in the trailer park in Pine City we had a dozen or more of those running around not albino because they had dark eyes so it was common to see all three at once white, black and regular grays all at the same time

When I first moved there it was only one then the number just grew, might still be doing so but not have north been back for a few years now

We have a few in my neighborhood in the 'burbs. Never seen one in a rural or wilderness setting as I think the raptors pick them off too easily before they mature.

Brevard NC has a large white squirrel population and holds an annual white squirrel festival. Their squirrels are not albino however.

In southern Ontario there are black grey and red(fox) squirrells.
In the north only Red(pine) squirrells.
Never seen a white one although the greys stood out because of their pale colour.

Saw a white one in town the other day looked well fed, first one I have ever seen. We have tons of black ones where we deer hunt neat to see

Many moons ago when I was a kid, there was a whole family of white squirrels in Merrill Wi. That would have been in the early 60s, haven't seen one since.

Only ever saw one white squirrel, and the only blacks here are on one neck of land between 2 creeks...otherwise just common grays...

In parts of Dayton, Ohio and it's suburbs like Kettering, Oakwood and Fairborn and in Piqua, Ohio, there is a great many albino, grey squirrels. It's not uncommon to see more than a dozen at once in a fairly open, wooded area. They are very noticeable, except when there is snow.

The last few years I am seeing a few black squirrels. Been leaving them alone hopefully they pass that gene on.

Our fox Squirrels around here come in all different colors from black to white to red and a mix of everything in between. They grow big here too. Like house cat size.

It's probably an albino squirrel.
