What are small standard square Hay and Straw bales going for where you're at? They seem kinda crazy high around here at $10 and up for straw. I use them for bedding for my Beagles.

Those prices ain't too bad, must just be this crappy city and county. I thought maybe the drought conditions were influencing the prices up.

Right now, straw is mostly $4.00 a small square bale here in small amounts and $3.00 a bale in large amounts. You can usually get it off the wagons, immediately after baling for $1.00 to $2.00 a bale.
Keith As dry as its been this summer im suprised you can get hay that cheap. unless the first and second cuts were better elsewhere. 3td cuttings around here were bismal.
