IMO, the dollar is going to fail or be replaced.
We had best prepare ourselves and family accordingly. Silver and Gold is a good thing to have it that happens. I can't afford gold, so I buy silver and bullets.
Also, have enough things in store to keep my family eating, warm, and healthy for 6 months.
But don't listen to me, I still have supplies from Y2K! HA!

Gold and silver will be able to be exchanged for the new currency just as it is now for the dollar. I don't see gold and silver really helping in bad times. Maybe I'm wrong. I hope I'm not around long enough to find out.

Gold is a hedge, gold mining stocks are an investment. Exactly. Lots of money made(and lost) on mining stock.They are the most risky and also the most rewarding. Millions were made here by locals on Hemlo back in the day

When I look @ the commodities only gold/silver is at/near a 52 week high.

Sitting on 80 grams of gold fever medicine. Have sold over 20k worth of it over the last 5 years. Most profitable hobby I have found for sure

Plenty of lead for sale by individuals, a buck a pound is spot price and they are asking 2 - 250. I see silver for sale the same way. Asking more than spot price. Have had several people get upset when I offer spot price for both so I quit asking.

In a true SHTF situation, a Bic lighter will be worth a lot more than a gold coin
A method of refilling Bic lighters would be equivalent to a gold mine in a longer term situation there would be trading/bartering.
