It reminds me of that system where you had a standard bench grinder and added a wheel with grit and the other wheel was a hardened paper wheel. You put an edge on the blade with the grit wheel and the paper wheel took the rough part of the edge off resulting in a sharp knife. I had that system and it was OK. But, I later went with a Worksharp that I preferred.
Dear Plexiglass, thank you for protecting me from the grocery cashier who just touched every single item I'll be taking home with me.

Does anyone have one? and do you like it? Pretty much the gold standard for woodshop sharpening systems. i'd love to have one but for now I use float glass and PSA sandpaper in various grits. That system actually works quite well keeping my plane irons and chisels very sharp.
Eh...wot?

It is probably excellent. So is a Worksharp. I have a worksharp and In my opinion It sucks. But maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Most of my chisels and planes I use my Norton stones ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2023/12/full-28801-198016-img_9537.jpeg)

Yes I use it a lot it’s really easy to razor edges on knives, the only attachment I don’t have and should is the gouge sharpening tool, big thing is to keep the water clean. Good Tip- I think the key is also standardization- yesterday I sorted all my 25-degree beveled chisels, I thought that's a rudimentary way to practice. I used layout die on the chisel face and simple spun the wheel by hand without power to make sure I had the perfect adjustment and proper contact, once set, the results were phenomenal and razor sharp. It reminds me of my Festool products where people are overwhelmed by the complexity and lose the simplicity of the German engineering (in this case Swedish)- the set-up becomes key and the basis for sharpening anything.

I use a permanent marker but the same idea.
