Silver and Gold is a good thing to have it that happens. I can't afford gold, so I buy silver and bullets. Also, have enough things in store to keep my family eating, warm, and healthy for 6 months. I would have most money invested in land, the market (to buy more land and punch out early), lead and brass. And a solid compound, good tools, equipment and supplies in case you have to dig in.
