May she rest in peace. I lost my mom suddenly 2 years ago and a day before that, I couldn't think of anything I needed to say to her. Now I wish I had fit one more phone call in. There was lots I should have said starting with thanks for putting up with me- I know darn well I was a tough kid. If she ever complained, I must have forgotten it.

Sorry to hear that. She's in a better place with the Lord now. it's the ones who are left behind that have to suffer the loss. Moms are special.
As an American I'm growing tired of our ancestors being compared to the migrants of today.
