Looks really great…. Is it all brain tanned hides that you did? Yes. I got the raw hides from a friend and his family. Four big Wisconsin bucks. Brain tanned them myself. It took me a few tries to get it right, but I am pleased with how they turned out.

Very, very, VERY nice!!! ...Is this hand stitched? Now you need to add some buffalo horn or antler buttons on the front. Than again, I think a hand woven sash would be just the ticket. Great job my friend!

Great job my friend! Yes, all hand sewn. I am most likely going to add a few ties, which show up on original jackets. Not really a lot of evidence for buttons on these.
