Here was my breakdown Wanna Be...

Mains... 40"
Tines....54"
Mass.....32"
Spread....15"

Pics are very deceiving, but I think that is a 140 class deer all day long. Interesting to see how we see things.

I believe TurkeyTime was closest at 143. That pretty darn good. I was right around 140 after rough measuring/guesstimating. Little more mass than I was thinking

I'm terrible at guessing deer when they are within range and im hunting. After watching his rack raise up and go down behind the log for 40 minutes at 35 yds then watching him run off (they always look bigger from behind) I thought he was 160. Lol. Not that I'm a bit disappointed, it was a very exciting and challenging hunt on a mature deer

Yes Sir,

I didn't check your math, but if you only took 3 H (Circumference) measurements, then your deer is even bigger.

All deer get 4 H measurements on each beam. Even spikes.

So yeah, he's bigger than 143!

Byrd edited his story again?... dang, he's getting quite predictable grin
Good buck sir. Like how you got him. Don't always need to be perched in a tree.

Some are awesome at stalking booners. whistle

Awe heck, I guess I'll " edit" my post. Really can't stand responding to Mr Facts but since he quoted " Mature Throphy Bucks", I d love to see that QUOTE?

You have a terrible condition. It's called " foot in mouth" disease.
Said it for years. You read things and interpret what you want. It gets worse by the year.
You are not bright enough to know, in Mn, I can legally shoot 1000 deer a year. Party hunting is legal here. If I go out making drives with 10 people that have open tags, I can shoot 10 deer.
So keep posting that screenshot Mr Facts. Maybe your nephew will chime in and encourage you.
By the way, he started using this nephew stuff as an insult to you. You sucked it up thinking it was a compliment.
Lol.lol.lol.lol.
K, I'm gonna go get a piece of fine pumpkin pie now. smile

For the H4 measurement on an 8 point, take a perpendicular line from the middle of the G3 and measure along the beam to the tip. Whatever that distance is, divide it by two and take your H4 measurement there.

If it were a 6 point, then you would put that number in twice.
