I hunt with SXS exclusively. Love the look, feel and that quick 2nd shot, and the choice of choke. Stevens mod 311, 28" Mod/Full LeFever, 26" I/C/Mod

I like and have both as well as semi-auto's, all shotguns are fun to shoot. I like the SxS's, kind of a nostalgia thing.

I figure it is some midwestern redneckish type thing where a pump just feels right in the hands them SxS sure are purdy though I am sure it has to do with what a shotgun looked like for us as kids my grandpas looked just like this, great uncles also an Ithaca 37 and my dads was an 870 first living thing I shot with a gun was a squirrel with grandpas M37 and I was hooked. the farmers choke of choice full , if you needed it dead full was getting it done as far as it could be done aim better if you needed a more open choke. I am sure it has to do with everyone with a gun that I respected as a kid had a pump and they made game happen.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
