This Tom was caught in the same set I caught my first cat of the season last year. It was a blind trial set. Unfortunately he was shot in the shoulder, not sure exactly what he was shot with because it doesn't seem that the bullet penatrated past the shoulder blade.

That’s a pretty cat. Almost looks like someone used a mechanical broadhead that hit bone and bounced off.

That was a gorgeous cat too.

I would guess 17 HMR or similar.............or 6.5 CM.

There was some some clear yellow infection on the skin around the wound when I skinned it so probably been a few days Wanna be.

Nothing a needle and thread wont remedy.
