Great tip Nessy but I would rather starve than eat Hot Dogs. You know what those things are made from right? L and A-H's. Or heat up a can of spam and baked beans.....

It appears you don't follow the "exposed" trap method. Do you not find covered traps more likely to freeze up? Or do you find our cats do not like them exposed.

This is why cats annoy me and I hate boxes. He walked within 6 feet and never even looked at it. Lynx will do the same with cubbies, I've always found it to be good practice to hang snares around my lynx sets that way I pick up those finicky cats.

Morning Rob,8:00 - 8:30 is the start your engine here. I would rather be running them now but I believe you may run a few off being in the woods at the crack of dawn.

I'm heading up tuesday to hopefully cross a bobcat off my bucket list. With no fishable ice on my walleye lakes I figured this would be a good year. I'd have gone up saturday but my Christmas tree business gets in the way of having fun.The DNR regulations say the bobcat must be skinned to register. So I take it if you want to have it mounted you must skin it yourself the way a taxidermist wants it?

Some guys will take it to the taxidermist to have it skinned to their liking and then get the pelt and carcass back to register it.
