I think a guy could make a living selling just an old type coffee next to a Starbucks. I went there once I told them to cut it with 1/2 hot water it was still undrinkable just nasty.

I arrived at SEATAC airport early one morning and everything was closed except SBUX.
I had never tried their brew but I was desperate. Bought a plain "coffee". Took one sip and threw it in the trash.
I'd rather drink boiling asphalt..........which might be pretty close to what that crap tasted like.

Charbucks!,

Stopped at a rest area once and they were the only ones open, ordered a plain coffee....First coffee in my life that I threw away, and I've had some bad coffee....For the life of me I can't figure how people can drink, or afford that crap...

I remember who has the good coffee and real creamer I’d pay more for gas to get a drinkable cup of Java.

It's a bit over priced but I have had worse. My daughter only comes over to the states rarely so when she's here I spoil her by going there.

I don't know the current prices, but I had a cup of regular coffee many years ago and it was the nastiest coffee I've ever had. I couldn't finish it. Trust me, being in the military for 24 years, I've had some bad coffee, but nothing as bad as that cup of starbucks. I've never bought another from there.

Went with a friend and thought nothing could be worse than their coffee. Was with the friend a second time and thought they can't screw up a cup of tea so I got that. I was wrong. Their tea was worse than their coffee if you can believe it.

That has been my experience the two (2) times that I ever tried it. Cajun coffee isn't even that bad. Never tried any of their coffee-flavored milk.

Over-priced, burnt coffee from a leftist bunch of folks: I'll pass.

A curious observation though. If a guy buys a coffee from Starbucks, they'll gulp it down like any other coffee. However, a woman will nurse a Starbucks drink for three or four hours, proudly parading around with her Starbucks cup for all her girlfriends to see. Strange.

Had a professor that always had a Starbucks cup. There wasn't a Starbucks within an hour of campus. Drove people nuts. He just reused the cup.

The 4 shot mocka, light on the chocolate, made with 1/2 and 1/2, extra hot, no whip, is pretty good

Those are guys who want to be guys but were trained to think being a guy is bad. So they buy Starbucks because that's what all non-guy guys do... but they chug it to get rid of the evidence in case a real man might see them and think less of him for it.

When my daughter lived in DC I'd drive down visit her. We'd go to a local Starbucks, get coffees and sit in the outdoor areas to watch people walking by while we chatted. I'd have her order for me because I wasn't sure what a large, regular coffee was called. LOL

I didn't think the coffee was that bad, overpriced for the quality but not bad coffee. Maybe it's a regional thing?

Eh...wot?
