I caught one today in a victor #1 longspring at a skunk set. Don't tell the farmer but I turned it loose. Big old sucker but no where near prime I have released bobcats but i would think a badger can be a challenge getting them stretch out enough not to get bit with the short front legs

They sure can mess up a good coyote set . That circle was about 6foot in diameter and roughly 10inches deep I got it all shoveled back in and remade the dirthole just to see what happens. I have a pipedream about 10 foot from it as a backup. I did not realize how skunky they smell. This farm is lousy with bobcat and I finally drew a tag this year so I'm waiting patiently J

The one this morning was easy being a #1 longspring I just pushed the spring down with the realse pole, didn't even have to rope him. Took him about a minute after I released the spring for him to even pull his foot out

We have a few around here where I trap early November, it’s high country for us,5000 feet plus. They make a mess! Here is one in a 120 marten set, that one was a surprise. Western Wildlife Services
