I had the luxury of hearing it twice already this morning in the workshop... hopefully the Chipmunk Song or Dominick the Donkey is queued up next- shoot me now.

My wife loves those songs. Thankfully I can't hear her play them when I am in my shop.

As bad as an old boss I had in college, played Bing Crosby for weeks on end this time of year.

Had to listen to the last minute of Jingle Bell Rock while waiting for the local news to come on my truck radio on my way into work this morning.
Only one more week of audio assault.

I just saw the title of this thread this morning and its been stuck in my head all morning. Then somebody had to bring up that dang donkey song and they are both on repeat.

Not a big Christmas music fan but "I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" is probably my second favorite Christmas song. "Christmas Carol" by Skip Ewing would be my favorite, and my wife who loves traditional Christmas music hates both of them. She claims "Christmas Carol" is a real downer.

Christmas Carol

Your wife is dealing with some demons of her own. Anyone who isn't wouldn't find Christmas Carol to be a downer. It's a lovely song.

I think everyone’s problem is the lack of snow. Hard to get into the Christmas spirit. Personally, I love MOST Christmas music. That hippo song does suck tho.

Country music sole purpose is to be a downer and turn people to alcoholism. When you let country musicians attempt anything it's rarely fun.
