Nice catches BP ..set our limit of 2 330s yesterday afternoon came up with a small kit today 1st of the year for me

Skinned a beaver today that had been in a snare once upon a time. You can see my conibear mark next to the snare scar. Wire was gone though.

BP, that's a pretty pile. Lots of work and satisfaction right there. Haven't got clean skinning down to an art yet but I practiced on a couple this year again. I do a lot of skinning and freezing with fur. I'll pull it out usually in February thaw and flesh. This year I'm trying to stay caught up and not use the deep freeze so much.

Looks like that beaver wore that snare for some time. Never seen anything like that before.
