Thank's Scott,beaver house cat,notice the weasel box the weasel was going in and out of the entrance so I figured I'd catch him,extra dark marten,those are always nice to see.

Dad checked blank traps today but they are predicting an inch of snow tonight so will see if that gets them going. Rained all day today

We got just under an inch of RAIN today so it made a real mess. It will be interesting to see what is froze up tomorrow.

Realy like those dark marten.

Quite a few years back I caught one that was super dark,when I walked into it I thought it was a ranch mink,it was almost black.I think those dark brown's are the nicest colored one too.

Scott,had to go back home on Wed so we didn't get him his 1st marten,it's been warmer than normal and their bellies must be full,we had a few martens around some of our sets,but no takers till today.I really like those dark martens.

We got close to an inch of rain yesterday and then it switched over to snow overnight. We got less than an inch of snow. I will run traps later this morning but have fairly low expectations. At least now I can finally see tracks anyway.

I was hoping for Tracking Snow ...but alas- brown here this morning
