Bought these 20 years ago to trap yotes. Had no luck so been using on coons. They look light duty compared to my new Duke #2 and MB550 traps.

Caught my first coyotes with these traps. Nowadays I like the bigger traps since theyre legal now compared to when I first bought them.

They will definitely do the job. The only thing i would think to change would be the chain and add swivels.

Adding some small lams like off election sign holders would be a good idea too. I wouldnt put full size lams on them unless you add 4-coil spring

I use the 1.75 4 coiled with lamps and a shock spring. They work great on southern coyotes.
