I got a Christmas tree from a store the other day. Live tree no idea what particular brand. How do I go about keeping it alive after Christmas? It’s 6 ft tall no roots I want to translate this spring

Water is good for two things, Floating Ships and making Beer.

No roots? I’m no arborist, but I don’t think a tree without roots is going to do too well.

If the tree doesn't dry out to much, you can root pencil sized cuttings from it by dipping them in rooting hormone, putting them in soil in pots you keep moist and putting the pot on top of a heat mat made for rooting cuttings. The heat from below helps the cuttings form a callous and root.

Cut down the trees & put them in a tree museum
Charge people a dollar and a half to see them

Did you mean "Transplant"????? A tree with NO ROOTS?
sAW ON THE NEWS THE OTHER A NURSERY WILL RENT YOU A LIVE TREE FOR THE hOLIDAY THEN TAKE IT BACK AFTER, AND SAVE IT FOR YOU FOR THE NEST YEAR. lol
I had a friend that I helped to plant a seedling in a 1/2 barrel planter before his kids were born, and it had wheels to roll it in /out of the house, and lived on the patio. They used it for like 10 years before it got too big, We then turned it loose in the wild by planting it out back and planted another seedling in the barrel.
