WhiteTrash 88 OP trapper W Joined: Feb 2020 Posts: 2,530 Missouri	What’s a good durable hip boot that will last a couple trapping seasons. The last pair of LaCrosse I baught leaked right out of the box. This ice is getting too hard on my toe nails to keep going in bare foot.

I bought my first pair this year and they're the toughest boots I've ever used and I've tried them all. 57 years trapping. It's who I am. Every day is still as exciting as it was when I was a kid but a little more work.

Very heavy duty. No idea how to order these days but if it were me, I'd just call them. I'm old school that way. www.iowatrappertalk.com

Did they happen to leak at the seam between the sole and the foot portion, near the ball of the foot? The first pair I bought did that out of the box. I warranteed them and the replacement pair did the same thing. I just siliconed them up and am using them. Not impressed with their quality in that regard.

If any complaint they are a little stiff, but you don't have to worry about them sagging down that's for sure NYSTA, NTA, FTA, life member Erie county trappers assn.,life member Catt.county trappers
