Recommendations where to have a snowshoe fur trappers hat made with furs we provide? And any suggestions on the put up before they are sent to the maker?

You might want to talk with them before proceeding. Wild rabbit pelts have rather thin leather and the fur is not very durable. Might be an expensive hat that won’t wear very well.

I'd strongly recommend against rabbit, It sheds really bad and has very weak leather.
