I have firearms close. 5 dogs prevent anyone from sneaking into our house to use my guns against me.

Water, between the bed and night stand is a fire proof safe with my kimber micro 9 on top, alarm clock is all I have on the night stand that is mine, however my daughter has crayons, and nail polish, coloring pages, and a bucket of double bubble.

Lamp, iPad, cell phone, box of Kleenex, pencil and paper pad, ruler, coffee coaster, usually a beer at night, and 9mm Glock.
