Lucked out today -- One of my customers is ripping out a marionberry yard ( +/- 30m acres) and is letting me grab all the fence posts that I want. 3-4 inch x 8ft treated posts -- great for fence posts. Picked up about 350 today and will be going back tomorrow for some more.

To bad fence posts don't come as a set with holes.

Only one yesterday -- plugged a beaver set.

I usually wait and do all my fencing after lots of heavy rain -- these posts are pointed and i can push them into the ground with the tractor loader most of the time.

Another 330 - 340 posts today -- I am not as young as i used to be. I don't know how many more I will grab. All the staples and wire is pulled as are the posts and are scattered through the field in piles of app 8. The field is a little wet so I can only get the pickup and trailer to the edge -- have to pick up the posts with the 4 wheeler (app 25 peer load) and haul them to the trailer. I am sure if i wanted another 1000 posts he would let me take them ( probably happy to have them out of the field as he says he will probably burn most of them) but I am not sure of how much fence I want to build.

That is a nice score. Dave you could consider selling them on craigslist what you don't need for yourself. Bet they would sell fast.
