December 26th in Northern MN and I haven't had to even start the truck once yet this winter. I did finally find a use for it today.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Barry, I caught that one almost exactly 3/4 of a mile behind my house on a pond I have to walk in to. That said, I would GUESS it was 45-50 pounds when I caught it and somewhere close to 800 pounds by the time I got it packed back to the garage.

I have nothing clever to put here.

that extension cord may spark next time you use it.
Does that caring it out follow the Bergmann's Rule,in weight distribution

those meaty pieces really are like by the Pileated w/p here, once they are frozen in a mass

Seems like the biggest ones are always the ones farthest from the truck.

I don't always carry all my groceries on one arm, but when I do, my keys are usually in the wrong pocket.

Even if we got 6 inches of snow tonight I still wouldn't be able to plow without being stuck in the mud. That old truck deserves a winter off and has earned it's keep around here.
