Morning,freezing rain last night,icy roads,foggy mist still this morning not expecting much movement last night.3 days of hockey starting today for the boys.Stay dry and safe out there today.

31° here up to 35° maybe foggy
I'll check traps ...then have a Family Christmas party this afternoon in the Cities

Hoping for fur for You'zall

Morning all. 30° with a light snow last night. I'm sure thr roads are a bit greasy so going to wait a bit before checking my short line. Maybe enough snow to see tracks but it's not going to take much for the snow to melt. Had hoped to get out a few new sets for cat but that may take a few days to dry up some of the field roads to where I can get out their without ripping up the roads.

I pulled the 4 sets I had left this morning. I plan to haul some bait (on foot) to a couple of new spots today in hopes the cats find them in the next week when things finally start to firm up a little bit.

Had a nice well marked Tom today 35lbs,Scott's cat and my limit of 5,cat #101,more wolf tracks and a coyote track here and there.Tomorrow I will pull the last cat location,I'll leave the few coyote snares and traps I have out.Heading into the hockey game in a couple of hours.

I hauled another beaver back where I had a set that I pulled when all this rain and melting started. Of course something found the original Beaver and ate it but without snow there is no telling what it was.

Take note Shakeyjake as a year like one unfolding this those cats do wander and the last year it was like this they piled into SE Manitoba. Some were even caught in Bisset latt.52N

Good evening,just back from the hockey games,the boy's lost a tough one tonight 3 to 2,hot goal tender and a good team 40 to 20 shots on net,couldn't get it passed him,great angles played and bad luck for us 3 pipes.Tomorrow they have another game with a good club also,hope they get back on the winning side.Still hoping to pick up one or two coyotes before I pull the plug,maybe a fox too.Have a good rest of the night everyone.
