Todd (MonsterToms) makes a good tumbler, he may be happy to oblige. The very best fur tumblers are the old "Reliable" brand 66" drum, the big drum reduces time and seems to clean really well. They were made from the 1920's through the late seventies. One in good shape today is a little spendy $2500-$3,000 but they are worth it if you do any volume and can even find one.

I built one for a guy I know about 10 years ago. He got an old commercial gas dryer just for hauling it away. We took out most of the guts and changed the drum motor.

You can make one out of an old electric clothes dryer. It won't tumble a lot of fur at a time, but it will get the job done. This is what I use.

I’ll have to look into getting an old dryer. If I’d wash the skins in a tub, would it work for drying them too or just would it just be good for softening & a light cleaning if I’d leave some holes open? Never mind, I think Gibbs video answered my questions in the other thread

Check with an appliance store or laundry mat for one that has a heating element that’s out it might be the cheapest route.
