Really good looking fisher. Congrat Bear Tracker. Would have looked even better if there had been snow on the ground.

All Bear Tracker's animals are larger than they appear- his shoulders are a boat oar across grin

25# male coon. Are the dark spots bite marks or ticks?

Way to go guys. I wish I was out there but conditions just don't warrant It.

I caught a grinner the other day and I released It. Can't believe I did that. Live trap.
I pulled all my CRs. No frost in the ground and I don't want to be tearing up all my trapping ground.
But I did pick up a big boar coon off the road. A few scuff marks but no real damage.

Caught a nice male otter yesterday. Weighed a little over 23 pounds and was 48" long from the nose to the tip of the tail. Other than that, it's been pretty slow. I need to set some cable restraints out for the coyote but the fields are too muddy now and that's a good way to lose farms. [Linked Image]

Great otter Lance.

This weather sucks. I sure hope winter gets here some time soon. I'm tired of cold rain and mud.

Nice work guys. I was changing out some batteries in a deer camera and noticed there was a family of otters swimming in one of my ponds. Looked like four little ones and mom. I guess the kids and I will have to try to evict a few in the coming days.

They can clean out any fish in a hurry. A few years back, I was trapping muskrat in a farm pond and there must have been at least 100 crappie heads on the shore. The owner wanted the otter gone but they weren't there come trapping season.

A few years back when we had a drought, otters cleaned out our neighbor's pond. Fish heads and turtle shell littered the far side by the outlet.

That's a big'n Lance.Got another buck mink and 5 more rats today. Picked up most of my Creek line. I've caught 227 rats so far, with probably half coming from bottom edge sets. I was issued 2 fisher tags so will try to catch the 2nd one next week and then play with the otters and more beaver. Hopefully can avoid anymore coon or bobcats. Good luck to all!

Nice job Walt! I need to catch some more beaver and otter as well. Good luck on the fisher and you definitely don't want to catch any bobcats. The release can be a little tense, lol.

Great Otter Lance, hoping for mine in the next few days, set up some nuisance beaver on our creeks as well. Walt great year so far. Agree could use some frost and snow.
