Can someone help me with a small batch ratio of water/salt/alum to alum tan a squirrel hide? It has been salted for 2 days, so the plan is to alum tan and then finish with egg/neatsfoot/Murphy's oil.

I'm thinking a day or 2 soak in an alum solution will make the leather nice and white and help set the fur.

It's the hide from this guy...
