I bet they can't be too bad Dave, I've only had to deal with a couple freezer burn hides in my life and it was usually at the nose or skirt. They seem bad when fleshing but usually blend in after put up.
Why you letting them go this year longer? Hope your feeling okay. If I was closer I'd come help

Don't sweat it coonman !!

I just sold 22 coon taken on November 4th & 5th, 2023;
skinned, stretched out green, & frozen flat with all
areas of flesh & fat covered & protected from freezer burn.

Groeny bought all but two dinks yesterday and
there was no issues with freezer burn or dried out flesh.

Rats and mink skinned & frozen but not stretched & dried
have about a two month freezer life before they start to
freezer burn or otherwise dry out if not put up.

They will last longer on the carcass but will be harder to skin.

I'd be getting after them by next week or
you'll start to have freezer burn issues
around the heads and tails of rats & mink.

Good Luck.

It takes up more space but on mink and rats roll them up and ziplock bag them. I uses 2 gallon ones if need be, But once they are in there top off the bag with water. Just like fish or anything you freeze them in water and they will last for years. Hard to do with coons.

Sounds good in theory but fur handling 101
says to dry the fur before boarding & fleshing
so you don't end up with matted fur that can't
be evaluated properly by the fur grader &
freezing wet fur runs a real risk of tainting &
fur slippage especially with muskrats.

Never was able to turn out the best looking pelt
and completely overcome matted fur with rat
pelts that were frozen while wet.

JMHO.

I have rolled up dry rat pelts in a zip lock bags and were lost in the bottom of a freezer till a year later. Put up with no problem or freezer burn. These were dry and roiled tightly.
