GREENCOUNTYPETE trapper G Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 20,781 Green County Wisconsin	groove tech seem to be less universal and designed for each rifles hammer https://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/item/00114gthm68/winchester-94-centerfire-hammer-extension I went with a peep and took the hammer spur off my 30-30 I would give some consideration to a 2x prism sight and mount it so that the back of the optic is out of the way of the hammer America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

gcs trapper G Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 3,364 coastal ny	Don't know about the 94's, but the 336s hammers are slightly different depending on when manufactured.Some aftermarket spurs don't tighten down right on all variations. Might need to specify the year built when ordering.
