I had a 5 shot Target Bulldog years ago.
Loved that pistol.
Should have only used 38's, the 357 mags beat it to pieces.
Wish I still had it.

If you can hit what you're shooting at 5 or 6 rounds should be plenty (but I got 7 LOL so if someone is brave enough to count 6 rounds and then rush me I can ruin his day too)

In the 70's when I had mine, CCI (?) made 357 Mag Lawman Specials. I think they were hotter than standard.
That is part of what is wrong with my hearing now. And, they were rough on the gut gun .... I meant GUN too.

Colt Python did mine in. I can put a ticking Timex next to my right ear and not hear a thing.

They gave me a S&W 36 snub at the SO it killed on both ends your ears would ring, the trigger guard would come back and bop your finger when the thin grip slipped in the palm of you hand. Shot a few deer with it but I regretted it afterwards.

Like said hold on thigh avoid the +P loads they ain’t no fun to shoot reloads for practice.
