I'm looking for a fleshing knife, plan on sending money to Lee for either the parallel or the mini.
Which one do most people prefer?

I have both. I like the mini for the easier stuff like skunks, bobcats or occasional coyote without any fat. Like the parallel for the tougher jobs. If I had only one it would be the parallel.

I have both, however I only use the mini. When I bought the first one, he wasn't making the mini. That little knife justs fits me better. That being said, you really can't go wrong either way. Excellent workmanship and a real good guy.

I have the parallel and mostly use it on beaver unless I get a really grisly raccoon or coyote

Parallel is what I have, might have to buy a mini. Changed the way I think of fleshing.

What about those ulu knives or grizz getters? Not to change the subject of the OP’s question but wondering if anyone uses those and how they like them??

I have the parallel and the mini. I like the mini a little more.

I've got one of his mini's and wish I would have gotten one years ago. You don't realize how much easier it is to flesh with a quality knife than a cheap one until you compare.

Thanks for the kind words, fellas! I’m in a bit of a bind, I ran out of bolts, and the place I have been buying them for many years was out of stock, and supply issues. Found a new supplier finally, just yesterday. A better price and made in the USA, what a deal. Hope they will be no more than a week getting here!

The mini will do everything a full size parallel will do, and it’s the best bang for the buck. People with shoulder and elbow problems tell me that they help with the pain if you have those problems. I still have not used a mini myself, as everytime I build one for me, someone wants to buy it! I still use my old full-size parallel that was the prototype that started the parallel knife for me!

Thanks again and tight chains!
