I'd like some input on dp traps pros cons what brand u like and why. I have 2 duke now just to try them out have always used led holds any input on what way to go will be great. Then what to do with 5 dz #2 Victor's and Montgomery and a bunch of 1.5 traps to. Just thinking of down sizing some got a pile of traps from over the years

Stick with those Dukes. Inexpensive, pull only triggers, and hold well.
I would not get rid of those 1.5s and go all to DPs, if that;s what you're thinking. DPs are okay in some situations, but footholds will take way more coons than DPs.

Duke , lil grizz, daggers , z traps . Have them all with equal success only difference is daggers and z’s have push pull triggers but I always set my grizzes and dukes first

Buy the Dukes they are as good as any others. I've tried nearly every other brand. No need to spend more than you have to.

I have dukes , you don't wax them like normal traps

the PRO is fast as you can bang a stake in your set is made , I carry my bait in cleaned out milk jugs and can pour it in without touching it at all
want to make your set a lot more weather resistant the liter gatoraid bottles peel the label off and leave the cap on cut the bottom off
drop that over the trap , easy to find with the orange cap , holds up to a few coon and you can see if the mice are taking your bait without touching it and works in a down pour

CON , while it is fast it is a one trick pony

some coon will practically trip on them in a trail and not touch them. espcially if they are on their way to the chicken coop

if they are at the bottom of a den tree waiting on others to climb down I did better but right on the trail to the chicken coop nothing and I got them in trail sets further down with live traps set in a two track

mostly you don't get any non targets like farm cats , if you do you just let them out.

I still catch my cats in dp's. So when close to the house and barn bait with marshmallows with cooling on them or similar cats won't be as attracted to. Also pull only catches less of them.

Bait with fish and I will.catch cats regardless. They are easy to let out but cold nights are not good.

possums pay same as coons at the farm , all need to be dead. they can live anywhere but at the farm.
