Thanks for the feedback. I know the location where it's from would fit the bird trap as its all salt marshes there, and the old timers would try to remove the raptors when they started eating the muskrats from the traps. So, the handmade wire also makes sense as a hawk or owl isn't fighting much while hanging upside down from a post in the marsh.
