We have been on the edge of the last 2 storms but missed the brunt of both but it doesn’t take much to cause big problems with it being so open.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

- 37 tonight, the day after that or so, -50 . Almost four feet of snow today, more on the way. It must be almost time to break out the long johns and winter boots then.
I have nothing clever to put here.

Not supposed to get much snow in Central IN….some rain and then 1 inch of snow and then 5 days of below freezing temps…a few days single digits or below. Think this will cold after the storm get the dogs moving?

160, that’s right. I have a pair of Steger mukluks, the polar trekkers use them. So do lots of Alaskans. Among the best cold weather footwear available. Good clothes and a beaver hat that covers much of my face when tied down.
Bob, lot of snow, yes, but the insulation is very appreciated.
I’m in a high valley, WM. Around 3000 ft and higher ,varied along the road. Mountains here much higher, of course.
Wind chill is expected to be-50 plus , depending on the micro climates of the state. Sure glad I’m west of the divide.

Dog faced pony soldier and proud of it!
