...to completely rotted down bobcat glands (about 10 years old) to increase its effectiveness to stop a cat in its tracks?

See pic (it is separated into sediment and oil) and has a nice, mellow, sweet catty odor. I have about 24 ounces and I'm sure it'll work pretty good as is, but I want some variation for different odors for cats.

I like to add valerian, asafoetida and cat essence.

What kind of liquid are the glands floating on top of ? You mentioned Oil ?

Have you added any urine too the glands?

One option is to keep it a natural cat smell, like Paul mentioned and boost it a LITTLE BIT. Maybe add a little bobcat urine & glycerin. Be careful with the urine!!

Second option is make a musky, rub type lure. By adding glands from otter, mink, muskrat, beaver castor, skunk. You do not have to use all of them? Consider adding some vanilla, civet musk, tonquin musk etc. be careful with the amounts used!

Third option is to add some of the Bobcat Glands to a Food base like Cultured Eggs & some beaver tail oil etc. Have Fun!!!

The dark oil is what has separated from the bobcat glands breaking down over the years. The glands I saved (way back then) were only the anal glands, empty bladders, rectum, and about 4 inches of empty colon. They sat in a gallon, vented glass jar for years before I touched them. They separated like that in the gallon jar b4 I poured them into smaller jars for ease of handling and separated again. These cat parts weren't perfectly cleaned of meat/fatty tissue, but were close.

Trying to remember that far back....I probably dumped a few bladders of pure bcat urine in there. I think I did. So, that dark liquid might be that cat bladder urine.

I also have about a quart of grey fox glands handled same way. I do remember adding grey fox bladder urine to that about 8 or 9 years ago. It is the most grey foxy-smelling stuff I've ever smelled.

That bottle on the far left (the one that is similarly separated, but with the dark oil on top of sediment) is 15 year old beaver sac oil with no additives.
