I get a lot of that coloring here. Too bad nobody wants them lol
Can't use snares here but I'd love to try it one day. I'd be happy for 4 out of twelve even if one was a loss. Can't wait to see how you do in the next few days.
Do they tend to shy away from your jackpots once a few are seen caught?

Cold weather is going to have the river froze up. Not worth anything but I like catching them. Close to the house it would be different if I had to drive all over. I think it's going to be so cold the next 2 weeks that they'll almost be forced go back to them. I could be wrong but I think the weather will definitely help those areas.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the amount of reds down in MO compared to other places way better than past populations in other places .

Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

I imagine so. Red ones are not out of the ordinary here. I have caught some pretty good ones for missouri though. 47 in a row no mange. That will probably change tomorrow now that I brought it up.

Dstone, do you chase those coyotes with hounds too, or maybe coons? Just wondering about the dog box on the truck.

3 beagles 2 german short hairs. I had 2 nice walker coon hounds but they both died of old age about 8 yrs ago. I raised them from pups sure miss them.

I hear up in Iowa you don't need a coon hound you just shoot a 22 in the weeds and you have a 92.345% chance of killing one.

There are a few coons to be had!
I've got shorthairs too for chasing the pheasants around here.
