Cant see the machine from your link. What make and model is the machine. Depending on the model it may be difficult or even impossible to get replacement parts.

That does seem underpriced, but I guess like I said depends on how available parts are and condition of the machine. (Your link requires a log in to some site on my end)

That actually seems expensive to me. I'm not current on snowmachine values, I just know that a good early 2000's four-wheeler costs about as much used as it cost new 20 years ago. Maybe snowmachines don't hold their value?

The dragons have have had a lot of problems with blowing engines. Those 800 don't seem to last very long and most guys that have had them here rebuilt the motors about every ride. They were ment to ride hard and fast but pore engineering. I am not a Polaris guy but know a bunch of people that have had them over the years. Can't remember the year but they did make one that actually ran really good and had some longevity.

All depends on the miles/condition.

Decent price, 15 years old. Miles? I’ve owned those, great machines. Clutch drive system may be worn, things can be added to hide that but that may not be the case. A quick compression check on the cylinders tells a lot.
A single person machine generally tuned for upper altitudes May have the valu down a bit.
Let’s hope it’s all good for the buyer.
I sold my last RMK with 2200 miles on it, same year, about 18 months ago. Perfect condition. 2200.00

Same here Mark. Not really current on that stuff. I think I'd like to sell used machines to Boco I only buy new.

Me too usually but they aren't making Elans any more It seems like every time they try to improve something, they take a step backward.

they seem to be around 3-4K here on market place
was it the wife selling the old machine because she wanted it out of the yard?
or that's what he told her it was worth
or maybe what dealer told them it was worth on trade +500
I still remember a ad in the news paper from year ago , woman listed all her husbands guns in the classified had a 30-30 , a 30-06 and a 12 ga , I called at 8:30 am and here phone had apparently been ringing off the hook since 6 they were already sold and she had cash in hand and picked up
she was apparently selling them for what he told her he paid for them.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
