With so much fake memory stuff out there it’s tough to not get deep into the gimmick market out there today. Fish oil, baby aspirin and a multivitamin are the only extra stuff I take daily along with a couple meds. What my wife takes in meds and supplements would be a small meal for me but she’s into the junk foods.
Diet and exercise go a long way with the brain functioning well. I find the more active I am the better my brain functions but some of that could be the diabetic issues I’m just lucky I’d rather be moving then sitting around doing nothing. A guy needs a balance he can’t overdo supplements to take the place of exercise both work together n moderation.
I think of the Eskimo people that eat a lot of oils that have strokes over heart attacks because of that. To much of anything might not be that good for a person.

I just went through immunotherapy treatment for cancer. One of the main possible side effects is neurological issues. They had me print the same sentence every day for a week afterwards and asked simple questions like what year it was, where I was, count backwards by tens, etc. I was always ten out of ten. Sometimes I wish my brain would shut up as it is always " on". And sometimes won't let me sleep. I think my trapping has a lot to do with my good recovery. Walking through swamps every day for a month is great exercise. Eat good food, not much junk, move a lot, read a lot, do something precise with your hands often. That's my advice.
Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

It may sound nuts but I enjoy doing dishes. It allows my hands to do one job while it lets my brain drift off to work on more consequential things. I find it relaxing.[/quote]
I do that when I’m driving. LOL

I don't forget. My brain is so full of knowledge there simply isn't room for any more. Sure that was my first thought.

This is kind of on topic, but did anyone see last night (on CBS) the neurosurgeon that has been perfecting ultra sound brain penetration to remove plaque associated with alzheimers? Pretty dang amazing the brain scans before and after.

Pretty dang amazing the brain scans before and after. I see a lawsuit coming from brain surgeons! Maybe the local lawyers can cash in.
