Had a vet appointment today for their first shots. I usally give them their shots but after a bad experience with someone who bought a pup from the first litter i learned its better to have documentation.They are getting big!

we have a German Wire hair that we got in September.

Been 6 years since we lost our 16 yo "pup".
Kind of just now started looking, without telling the wife.
Boy the little buggers got expensive.

Yeah, yeah I do. Every dog I have ever had has been spoiled ROTTEN. They sleep where I sleep, eat what I eat, go where I go..............I am lost without one but not having the responsibility isn't horrible either. Besides, a dog is a 12-14 year responsibility and I hope to be dead by then.

Yeah german short hairs. I love them. I get the shots from Troy co-op most all feed stores or country stores have them in all varieties except rabies. Last time I bought them they were 12 bucks each the vet charged me 35 each. All the pups are sold besides one female which has a umbilical hernia. I'd make someone a good deal on her. She will be 100 percent after it's fixed just unfit to have pups as that can be passed to her pups. It's the girl sporting the pink collar. They make awesome deer trackers, trap line dogs, shed dogs, and of course bird dogs. I use mine for all of the above.

Are the German Short Hairs as high strung and wild as the Jagdterrier?

Mine are laid back they don't range to far they will sleep on the couch all day or go hunt all day. They have a good temperament. I've never been around a jadgterrier but I've heard they're wound tight.
