Probably should put his barriers on the Mexican side of the Rio Grande. The ones in Eagle Pass appear to only block further entry into the U.S. and/ or Border Agents from apprehending illegals for processing. Maybe the Federal law can be changed and illegals have to be at least 200 yards into U.S. before they have to be apprehended and processed. That should allow States to erect barriers in the U.S. which work and don't require Border agents to apprehend Illegals that make it halfway cross the Rio Grande.

The socialist administration made a secret deal with Mexico to slow the tide of illegal coming in until Dec 2024. Going to cost the taxpayers $50 billion for this schrade. Last year alone non-government organizations spent 1/2 billion taxpayer dollars helping illegals enter this country. Money better spent for veterans and us citizen that need help.

Texas has responded by giving the Regime the middle finger. As CNN reported, Texas authorities arrested illegals at Shelby Park in Eagle Pass, Texas, late Wednesday evening. They were charged with criminal trespassing, marking the first arrests of illegal aliens since the state took control of the area at the US-Mexico border last week.
