In a world where all forms of energy can be used the EVs can work well in those warmer climates and that is where the majority of our US citizens are either living or moving too, let alone the rest of the world. The idea that these issues are all or nothing really slows progress. As stated in another post, just think of all the fossil fuel and or electric energy being saved by millions workilng at home or remotely and that most likely will continue to grow.

I completely agree that it can be a solution for here or a solution for there and that there are a lot of people who never see 0 or it is a day a year
the issue is with while more than half the nations population in places that never see negative temperatures those representatives apparently don't think about not pushing it as a one national solution and ours aren't bright enough to say , hey wait a second what happens when it gets cold , or get lied to because cold is a relative thing.
there are a lot of issues with electric cars and we like to pick on them and lump them together.
the biggest issue is if you want an electric great understand it and use it but like all sales pitches. Over sold under, delivered always a catch and never told up front.
BE strait , be technical in the issues and what they are and where they are and how they will effect you at what temperature. ect
because when you document it well and with real numbers then you close the door to everyone pointing out every issue you didn't disclose
transparency I believe they call it and the real issue is we are all sick to death of the lack of transparency and the well but that comes in later.
if all parties were fully transparent and everything was up to the consumer to buy in or not and not my tax dollars wasted on an over sold under delivered sales pitch and not someone telling us we are going like it or not.
well there would be no need for push back.
