I was cutting wood out on the river yesterday. Found this goose decoy that got away from someone and froze in up to its head. It’s like a yote magnet. You can see distant tracks turn and head right for it. One even chewed a hole in the top.

One can do the same with a charred block of wood and even an empty quart oil can !

Yeah, they head right for anything that sticks out on the ice. Kinda cool to see their tracks change course when they see a “clump” and head straight for it.
