i find it rewarding extra warm and a lot of fun to do it isnt near as hard as i always thought it would be and if you make throws pills and such you dont have to get them super soft the more you use them the softer they get i like putting mylar in them i think it makes them even warmer

Interesting. I never thought about mylar. I did make removable fleece liner for gauntlets. The hat has a felt liner.

i use reflective insulation from menards in pillows throws and such next to the fur with foam or what ever in the middle for the hats and gloves i would use the mylar sheets firefighters use i have a pair of boots that have the removable footies in them i put refective in one and the mygar in the other in the other between the footy and the boot both work well my feet never get cold use to be my feet was the first to get cold
